As a non-profit multi-cultural arts organization we are dedicated to promoting, presenting and preserving the African and Indigenous cultures of the world through Music, Art, Dance, Education, Technology and Sustainability. We are located in Balboa Park, down the from the world famous, San Diego Zoo.

WorldBeat Cultural Center offers classes and events in music and dance from around the globe including African, Middle-Eastern, Brazilian, Japanese, and more. We have top instructors that teach yoga and QiGong free to the community. We are dedicated to the health and wellness of the planet through ongoing lectures and workshops on health awareness. WorldBeat Cultural Center is also known for event and concert production. WBCC has been producing Tribute to the Reggae Legends/ Bob Day, our largest fundraiser, film festivals, indigenous community events. We believe these events give the San Diego community awareness of each other's culture creating unity within diversity. WorldBeat Cultural Center is your passport to the world.

By volunteering as an Event Assistant at the WorldBeat Cultural Center you will be learning how to produce events from start to finish.
