A friendly visitor is needed to provide friendly visits to brighten the day of patients with life-limiting illnesses. Volunteers read, play music, and provide conversation. Of special need are Veterans and music, art or pet therapists. Visits are usually once a week for approximately 1-2 hours. Volunteer work is flexible and based on your availability. We are grateful for as much time as you can give!

What is hospice? Hospice is a specialized form of home healthcare for patients with life-limiting illnesses that allows them to live out their days as fully and as comfortably as possible.
The hospice team: Care is provided by a team of skilled, compassionate people, including nurses, hospice physicians, medical social workers, hospice aides, spiritual care coordinators, and volunteers - very special people who dedicate their time to a truly noble cause.
We believe that every moment matters. We believe in compassionate care. Most of all, we believe in dignity and respect for each patient we serve. As a hospice volunteer, you can help ensure that every moment really does matter.
