Nurturing Hands Patient Assistant (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) volunteers cuddle, hold, rock, sing and socialize with hospitalized infants. Volunteers are required to contribute a weekly, for a minimum of nine consecutive months. This opportunity is a set schedule. Available shifts: Saturday, 9 AM - 11 AM; Sunday, 9 AM - 12 PM and 12 PM - 2 PM.
Volunteer Onboarding: Complete volunteer contact form at clevelandclinic.org/volunteer; volunteer information session/interview; volunteer orientation; fingerprint background check; TB test; flu vaccination; Cleveland Clinic Children’s NICU volunteer orientation; and train with NICU caregivers. All components completed during the day, during the business week.
