The Christmas Season is approaching, and there's nothing like sharing music to make the season joyful! Why not gather a group to come and sing carols for our folks here at the George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Center? Or maybe you are a member or teacher of a dance class or a scouting group and you could come and perform or just help out with a craft project! Our seniors would LOVE a visit from your merry group - from the very young to the young at heart!
In order to provide this activity in the safest way possible, this will be an outdoor activity, and masking is required for all.
We are open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please contact Maria to schedule a time for your group to come and sing for our folks some time this Holiday Season!

Mission Statement
Glenner Alzheimer's Family Center serves families and people coping with Alzheimer's disease. We are an adult day care center open Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Our center offers stimulating programs appropriate fro those with AD such as music, arts and crafts, exercise, pet therapy, games, etc. Our program allows people with AD to live at home with their families as long as possible. We area small center, licensed to have 24 participants here at a time, and we offer a 5:1 patient to staff ratio which allows us to really know our participants. We love having people and organizations from the community come in and share their talents and passions with our participants. Along with our day care program, we also offer a support group for family members every Wednesday afternoon.
Description
Our program offers respite for family members who need to go about the everyday business of their lives secure in the knowledge that their loved ones are safe and happy. Our day to day business, though, is providing our participants with stimulating activities and the opportunity for social interaction; in other words, we do our best to make sure they have fun while they are with us.
