The Actors Theatre Workshop is an award-winning non-profit theatre company that also provides classes in acting and leadership for actors and business professionals as well as community enrichment programs for at-risk and underprivileged youth.


A Digital Copywriter will be able to translate outstanding thoughts and ideas into compelling words. Tactically, s/he will develop advertising copy and longer-form writing that will build and strengthen a brand through smart, creatively unexpected communications in multiple media (online in all forms and sometimes offline). Job Qualifications: (examples listed below) - Collaborate with project stakeholders and team members to develop creative concepts for a client’s marketing initiatives - Be responsible for editing and proofing materials during all project phases - Ensure a consistent brand presence is maintained across all media - Contribute new ideas and solutions appropriate for diverse media outlets, evolving technologies, and current trends - Assume ownership of projects by working with less supervision, contributing more to the strategic and conceptual direction of the assignment, and being relied on as a brand authority - Direct junior associates and freelancers to bring the creative vision to life - Be able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately - Be self-motivated, hard working, well organized, and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables

Founded over two decades ago, the Actors Theatre Workshop is an established pioneer in non-profit theatre that produces classical and contemporary plays, develops new dramatic works, trains and develops actors, directors and writers while making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth and the community at large. Thurman E. Scott, ATW's artistic director, Executive Producer and Founder, is a widely acknowledged expert of artistic project development, an innovator of award-winning arts curriculums and programs for proffessional artistic training, and has a long and successful history of public service to culturaly under-served communities.
