We both give shoes and cleats away to various soccer teams and baseball teams both locally and around the world.
We participate in various sporting events to collect shoes. These events have ranged from "In Ian's Boots" night at the Reading Royals, Reading United Soccer and the Philadelphia Union. They also include local soccer events in Coventry, Boyertown, Spring Ford and West-Chester. We recently became a partner with the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth soccer Association.
We are looking for a person to help expand this area of In Ian's Boots. We are dedicated to getting youth out there and playing, not matter what the sport is!
Responsibilities:
- Identifying additional avenues for getting cleat and sport shoe donations
- Identifying additional teams and organizations we can help.
- Identifying and building sports related partnerships
- Managing the sport footwear inventory

Mission Statement
Our mission is to spread the good news of Ian's faith by providing shoes and winter boots to those in need!
1.) Encouraging groups and individuals to sponsor collections for gently used shoes, winter boots and soccer cleats.
2.) Cleaning, sanitizing, packaging and shipping these items to where they are needed the most. We include in each pair of shoes or boots a copy of the verse that the doctors found "In Ian's Boots."
3.) Soliciting manufacturers and retailers for donations or deep discounts on surplus stock and overruns then arrange for the distribution of the shoes and boots.
4.) Using individual donations and corporate grants to purchase, clean and ship shoes and boots to where they are needed the most.
5.) Working with other local charities, schools and businesses to both collect shoes and to assist with distribution
Description
We collect shoes from the various resources indicated above and provide shoes to those in need. We have provided shoes to homeless and underprivileged in Pottstown, North Coventry and Chester PA. Also in Westminster MD. We have also provided shoes to China, Honduras, Haiti, Ghana and Uganda.
Our volunteers needs include collecting shoes, cleaning and processing shoes as well as event coordination, website maintenance and volunteer coordination.
