Kindred Hospice

Veterans are needed to provide comradeship to fellow Veterans who have a life-limiting illness. Kindred Hospice is committed to recognizing and honoring those who have served our county. Veteran Volunteers have the unique ability to relate and connect with Veteran patients and their families. They can also help to celebrate important military anniversaries by assisting in recognition ceremonies.

Kindred Hospice serves the central Jersey area including Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris and Union Counties. Free screening and training is provided. Contact Elaine.Carlsen@gentiva.com or call 888-556-8880 today.

What is hospice? Hospice is a specialized form of home healthcare for patients with life-limiting illnesses that allows them to live out their days as fully and as comfortably as possible.

The hospice team: Care is provided by a team of skilled, compassionate people, including nurses, hospice physicians, medical social workers, hospice aides, spiritual care coordinators, and volunteers - very special people who dedicate their time to a truly noble cause.

We believe that every moment matters. We believe in compassionate care. Most of all, we believe in dignity and respect for each patient we serve. As a hospice volunteer, you can help ensure that every moment really does matter.
