Salvation Army is committed to doing the most good for the most people in the most need.

Help us register families for Christmas assistance. Each family will receive a Christmas wish and a toy for their child(ren) 14 years and under.

As families come to our office to register, you can help us by filling out an application for them. Your help is appreciated anytime during:

  • October 3rd-5th 2017
  • Shifts Available (10:00am-12noon), (1pm-5pm) or (5pm-7pm)

Volunteer duties include greeting the clients as they arrive, helping with hospitality,and assisting clients in completing the seasonal assistance paperwork. Volunteers will also be asked to check documents and determine if clients qualify for assistance. Volunteers will need to be respectful and considerate to all applicants and their situations. Represent The Salvation Army in a loving manner and maintain strict confidentiality.

Volunteers should have good organizational skills, be able to work with and interact with a diverse group of people. Volunteers who are bi-lingual (English and Spanish) would be a plus but is not required.
