Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois is seeking Troop Leaders to work with girls in troop of all grade levels. Troop Leaders receive training and support from council staff, regional volunteers, and printed resources.
Troop Leaders are asked to meet with girls weekly, biweekly, or monthly depending on the needs of the troop and also plan outings. Activities should follow the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Our leaders must clear both a DCFS and criminal background check and be a registered member of Girl Scouts.
Opportunities are available in communities throughout southern Illinois.
