The Boys and Girls Club of Pomona Valley is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. We currently have opportunities for you to join our mission by becoming a volunteer/mentor for Club members.

Great futures start here. We believe it is not what you do for our children, but what you teach them to do for themselves that will allow them to grow up to be successful adults.

The Boys & Girls Club of Pomona Valley helps develop Club members by instilling in them a sense of belonging, usefulness, leadership, and competence. Clubs do this daily by providing young people with one-on-one relationships with caring adult professionals through fun, age-appropriate, well rounded programming in a supportive environment.

By becoming a mentor/volunteer, you can help Club members reach their full potential. This is done through a 1-on-1 mentoring program during the school year or by volunteering to assist the club's existing programs such as group tutoring and College Bound.

Many children in our program are from low-income families, and are considered at risk. They need guidance and support to keep them on track to graduating high school, attending college and breaking the cycle of poverty. To qualify to be a mentor/volunteer you must to be 18 or older and a have a desire to work with children. Help a local student achieve academic success!
