Have fun helping to raise support for the free literacy programs of Literacy Volunteers of Wayne County. Volunteers are needed to help with scorekeeping and set-up/take down. Dinner is provided to all participants. Enthusiasm for Scrabble is appreciated but not required. Friday, November 16, 5:00 - 9:30 pm.

We change lives through literacy! We do this through a variety of activities that provide opportunities for adults to learn, encourage reading in the community, and help children succeed in school.
Description
With support from New York State, United Way, and other community funding, Literacy Volunteers provides free educational services to adults who reside in the Wayne County area. Some of the many services provided include: English as a Second Language, TASC Preparation, Basic English Language Education, Digital Literacy, and a Free Bookshop. These services rely on dedicated and caring volunteers, who are the backbone of our organization. Help us by volunteering today, and improving the quality of life for those who live in Wayne County!
