All children have great potential. Through our Reach and Rise mentoring program, the La Crosse Area Family YMCA makes sure that every child has an opportunity to realize that potential. This happens when our mentors build caring relationships with youth that help them reach their goals.

If you had a special person in your life who guided, nurtured, supported and taught you that you mattered, then you had a mentor! Now it's your turn!

Mentor Requirements:
-Be at least 21 years of age
-Pass background check
-Have a clean driving record
-Complete 15 hour mentor training
-1 year commitment
-Spend 1-3 hours a week changing a child’s life
