Have you heard about a company, hotel or organization that carries toiletries and they are changing brands or have an excess and need to get rid of them? Bring them to us, we will gladly take them and distribute them to those that need them!
Examples: a hotel changes its name and no longer can use all the branded toiletries it has. A cosmetics company discontinues a product line and a local department store still has inventory.
We will assist this volunteer in understanding our organization and identifying potential windfall opportunities.This is a great way to do a lot of good without spending a lot of time or any money!

Description
We collect sample and full-sized toiletries and distribute them to human service agencies.
Clients include the homeless, sexual assault survivors, children and families in transition, survivors of domestic violence, migrant workers, and AIDs survivors.
We have distributed over 80,000 pounds of toiletries in Rochester. Sample Soap has been recognized by the Points of Light Foundation, the White House and People Magazine; we also won a national "Make a Difference Day" award.
