Cine Qua Non, Inc./Incite Pictures is an award-winning independent nonprofit documentary film company dedicated to producing high profile documentaries on social and cultural issues.

We are looking for someone who speaks who speaks Spanish to work on our latest documentary set in Lawrence MA, focusing on environmental justice. You will be working closely with our editor, who is also the co-producer, director.
Ideal candidate will know how to use editing system "premiere."
Though unpaid, and we know everyone writes "Great Opportunity!" this really is.
The primary position is working with our editor, but there are many other aspects of development and production for you to learn, if you are interested.

Films include BEI BEI (2018) launched at Doc NYC, Young Lakota (2013), premiered on PBS Independent Lens, after winning top Native American Festival Awards. The Education of Shelby Knox, launched PBS’s Point of View 2005 series, after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, Live Free or Die (2002) that was on PBS's POV as a fall election special. For more information go to www.incite-pictures.comTheir films have been broadcast on the CBC’s Passionate Eye in Canada, on PBS’s Point of View, Independent Lens, and many other strands around the world. Their films have won Best Cinematography at The Sundance Film Festival, The Audience Award at SXSW, The Emerging Picture Award at Full Frame, and The Jury Prize for Best Documentary at The Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Personal recognition includes The Full Frame Women in Leadership Award, The Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Award, and a nomination for the British Index on Censorship’s Freedom of Expression Award. Though their topics have been specific to the United States, the topics have international appeal, and have their films have shown at The Human Rights Watch Film Festival, Hot Docs, The Stockholm International Film Festival, The Seoul International Film Festival, The Festival de Rio de Janeiro, and many more. For each film, Cine Qua Non produces an extensive outreach campaign, working with activists and other non-profits to use the films to educate the public and incite change.
