The Lint Center for National Security Studies is seeking a well-rounded person with strong leadership skills seeking an opportunity to build-upon those skills to benefit our non-profit organization.
The Lint Center is dedicated to promoting and supporting the fields of National Security and counterintelligence. However, we work with our interns to create internships that allow them to fully utilize their skills and advance their knowledge and experience in their areas of interest.
At the Lint Center, we have many potential areas with which we can use assistance from interns. However, if there is a particular area in which an intern is interested, we allow flexibility in the development of an internship. That is, the intern and the Lint Center staff will work together to create a mutually beneficial internship program.
Because we are a nonprofit organization, this position is voluntary. However, we are dedicated to making sure our interns gain valuable experience in their field(s) of interest while working with us!
Available focus areas include:
- Social Media
- Marketing
- Video production/editing
- Mentoring
- Grant Writing
- Blogging/editing
- Press Release Writing
- Scholarship distribution networks
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Volunteer Recruitment
- Public Relations
- Data entry
- Internet Research
- Administrative Coordinator
The above areas can be focused on individually, or can be combined to incorporate a more diverse range of experiences. We want our interns to get the most out of their experience as possible and are open to any amount of dedication our interns can provide. We will coordinate with your school and certify your internship hours and task. We also offer scholarships semi-annually to help support National Security and counterintelligence studies! Contact us today if you are interested in becoming a part of the dedicated Lint Center team!
