CADET PROGRAMS

Are you over 12 years old and want to learn to fly, develop leadership skills, learn search and rescue, CPR, radio communications, emergency services, aerospace, rocketry and participate in community service ?

Come to one of our meetings and see all what the Civil Air Patrol has to offer to both youths 12 and up, and adult volunteers. Joining the Air Force IS NOT a requirement to participate in the cadet program.

Instruction, community service, training conferences and camps, physical training and other activities take place during our weekly meetings on Friday evenings, weekends or vacation time.

Participation at the cadet programs will help you build up community service hours required by many schools. Youths also have actual opportunities for community service through organized activities at CAP.

Parent participation is also encouraged. Many of our officer senior members are parents of squadron cadets that wish to get involved.
.............................
In Civil Air Patrol, YOU can learn, lead and play a role as a civilian volunteer of the Air Force's auxiliary. Join more than 54,000 members who expand and share their expertise with CAP in a wide variety of fields without having to join the military.

OFFICER PROGRAM:

Adult members are part of a team of volunteers from all walks of life. Opportunities are available in writing, flying, radio operations, teaching, emergency services, finance, fundraising, event organization and much, much more.

Westchester Cadet Squadron 1 is now meeting on FRIDAYS, 7-9 p.m., at the American Legion in Eastchester, N.Y.

Please contact us if you would like to attend one of our meetings.
