The Eugene Science Center seeks volunteers to facilitate our tot events. Tot Discovery Days are held every Friday from 9am to 12pm. Volunteers will participate in hands-on art and science activities with preschoolers and their parents. No prior scientific knowledge is necessary - we will provide all the training necessary to be a kid-science expert! Volunteers interested in this opportunity will need to go through our regular recruitment process.

Founded in 1961, the Eugene Science Center's mission is to engage, excite, and inspire children toward a lifelong love of learning about science, technology, and humanity. We strive to do this through interactive exhibitions, planetarium shows, and educational programs on many scientific fields and concepts. We serve 35,000 visitors each year, including 6,000 K-8 children who participated in educational programs such as school field trips, holiday/vacation programs, and summer camps. Formerly the Science Factory.
