Help with Home Repairs for seniors in Franklinton!

ORGANIZATION: Gladden Community House

Have experience with fixing things? Want to share your talents with those in need? We are looking for volunteers with home repair experience to complete home repairs for some of the seniors in the Franklinton Community. People with experience fixing broken windows/doors, basic plumbing, basic electric, and other types of home repairs would be most helpful (you don't need to know how to do all of these things, we would be matching volunteers with a project that would fit their skill set.)

Volunteers WOULD NOT be paying for the items necessary to complete the repairs, only volunteering their time to complete the repair from beginning to end.

Volunteer hours would be on an "as needed" basis and we can work around your schedule as long as your availability is convenient for our seniors!

Gladden Community House is a non-profit settlement house serving the Columbus urban communities of Franklinton and Southwest Columbus. We are a neighborhood-based agency that provides education and recreational programs, emergency assistance, advocacy and support in order to make a difference in the everyday lives of individuals, families, and groups.
