Youth in Focus’s mission is to empower youth, through photography, to experience their world in new ways and to make positive choices for their lives.
Needed: Photography Equipment / eBay Expert
Description: Do you geek out over camera equipment? Do you love researching and learning about old cameras and lens? Then this is the perfect volunteer position for you! We're lucky to receive in-kind donations of photography equipment, and most of it we can use in our program, but what we can't, we sell on our eBay store. All of the profits then go right back into our youth development photography program.
Qualifications:
- Experience in photography equipment (cameras, lens, flashes, etc)
- Ability to research camera bodies, lens, and other items to determine value and price for eBay
- Experience with eBay desired, but not required (training can be offered)

We put cameras in the hands of youth and place them in a challenging environment surrounded by high quality talented teachers, nurturing adult volunteer mentors, and create a strong community of support. Through photography our students find their voice, identity, creativity, and gain new confidence in their worth and abilities.
