Seeds 4 Success, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Annapolis whose mission involves guiding youth living in public and subsidized housing to become healthy, successful adults, is seeking several Academic Success Coaches for our Eastport Girls Club and Eastport Boys Club program to work with girls and boys in grades 3-8 living in Annapolis public or subsidized housing communities. http://s4sannapolis.org/
Come get involved by spending one hour a week every Monday (EBC) or Wednesday (EGC) from 5:00-6:00pm at the Eastport Community Center on President Street. Our Academic Success Coaches are matched in a 1:1 relationship with a young girl or boy (grades 3-8) to assist her/him in development of successful academic skills, such as literacy and goal-setting. An agenda outlining the session's questions and focuses are provided every week. No teaching experience necessary.
For more information, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator (Allie Matheu) at 410-533-3847 ext. 700 or allie.matheu@s4sannapolis.org.
