As our food arrives from the Central Kitchen, the volunteers will portion and package the meals for our Meals on Wheels routes. For our dining room Cafe 60, you will help with setting tables, portioning and serving food and assist our Senior Neighbors as they join us for lunch. Work along with staff and other volunteers. May help with clearing tables, washing dishes, etc. This is a great chance to share and visit with our senior guests!

The Senior Meals Program's mission is to promote wellness by serving nourishing meals in a convenient community location where friendships can be built and community involvement maintained.
Description
The Senior Meals Program operates 11 Cafe 60 dining sites throughout Lane County where seniors over 60 and their spouses to share companionship and a hot, delicious and nutritious mid-day meal. We also deliver Meals on Wheels throughout Lane County.
