Math Tutors needed for pre-algebra, algebra, geometry and calculus students.
1 hour, 1 day per week: Monday through Thursday between 3-6pm.
Make a difference in the life of a child or a college-bound teen. Opportunities available at our Harbor Gateway location at Vermont & 120th (Academy Hall Learning Center), as well as, the NYA Watts Campus across the street from historical Watts Towers and Foundation Park (St. John's Learning Center).
Other opportunities available throughout Los Angeles - DTLA, Koreatown, Mar Vista, Venice.

Mission Statement
The Neighborhood Youth Association provides at risk youth from low income homes a comprehensive set of educational enhancement services in a sustained, focused manner over the critical years of their lives so that they may successfully reach a productive adulthood.
Description
NYA offers services that are long term and concentrated, adapted to meet the individual needs of each child and are measured against tangible goals. We have locations in Venice, Mar Vista (West LA), Downtown LA, Mid-City, and South LA/Harbor Gateway.
