About

You can make a difference in the life of a homebound senior! The Carter Burden Center for the Aging is partnering with Selfhelp to launch a new program--The Virtual Senior Center (VSC), which allows you to facilitate an interactive class. Some of our current classes include: current events, gentle exercise, computer basics, political review. With a time commitment of only 45 minutes to an hour a week OR month, you can easily make a difference. All you will need is a webcam enabled computer to facilitate a class from your home or office. Our intent is to reduce social isolation in the lives of seniors and need your help to do so.
