We have openings for help 1-2 hours a week in the office with filing, mailings, putting together information notebooks, volunteer training and recruitment, etc. Administrative volunteers support volunteer services, the bereavement office and nursing.

These tasks are the backbone of keeping the agency running smoothly. If you can help, please let us know!!!

Administrative volunteers receive hospice training and instructions on each administrative task. Admin volunteers must complete a background check and a tb test. Flu shots are strongly encouraged.

Description

OhioHealth Hospice in Athens program Athens, Hocking, Meigs, and Vinton Counties in Ohio. Hospice offers nurses, home care aides, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, and volunteers to make the final months of the terminally ill as comfortable, as pain-free, and as fulfilling as possible.

Volunteers are an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team and are treated and trained as unpaid employees. We have a volunteer coordinator who oversees and nurtures our volunteer program.
