Volunteer Social Media Manager:

JSCV is in need of a volunteer Social Media Manager to help spread the word about our organization and the plight of homeless veterans. The social media manager will play a critical role in the development of our organization, by growing our social network, creating content and gaining greater visibility for our work. This position can be done remotely.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the social media strategy for JSCV.

• Ensure social media tools are kept up to date.

• Grow and manage our presence in social networking sites.

• Regularly report back to the Executive Director

• Monitor trends in social media and youth social enterprise and post relevant content at least once every 3-4 days.
  

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for both social media and the mission and vision of JSCV.
• Knowledge and understanding of social media, especially Facebook.

• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in writing
