We are looking for Academic Enrichment Volunteers!
We have 14 sites with after school programs that you can help work at. During our after school programs we have Academic Enrichment Time or Power Hour which is a 30-60 minute time period where members have the opportunity to complete homework assignments and other academic activities. If the students have no homework or finish early, then our Power Hour kits are utilized, these kits are full of educational games that go along with the students existing school curriculum. As an Academic Enrichment volunteer we want you to enjoy spending time with children and see what difference an hour a week can make in the lives and in the academic advancement of the kids you work with. Power Hour at most sites are between 3:00 - 5:00 depending on your site.
There is a time commitment of as little as 1-2 hours per week! This is a great opportunity for anyone!
