The Snohomish Community Food Bank is seeking volunteers to help sort and organize food. We have multiple positions open throughout the week, Monday through Saturday.
Available positions:
- Cooler Organizer - sort refrigerated items, organize and stock cooler
- Freezer Organizer - sort frozen items, organize and stock freezer
- Produce Sorter - sort fruits and vegetables, determine what is and what is not acceptable for human consumption, display produce for client distribution
- Bread Sorter - sort loaves of bread, check for mold, stock bread racks
- Boxed and Canned Food Sorters - sort dry goods, check expiration dates, keep backroom organized

Mission Statement
The Snohomish Community Food Bank mission is to provide basic foods and services to qualified recipients in a caring, dignified and humane manner.
Description
The Snohomish Community Food Bank is a non-profit organization concerned for the welfare of people within the community. The Food Bank serves residents living within the Snohomish School District boundaries and is supported solely through donations and volunteers. Since 1985, we have provided groceries and social services on a weekly basis.
We operate Monday through Saturday in preparation for serving up to 300 families each week. We rely on approximately 140 volunteers to pick up, organize and sort, record, plan and distribute the food and services we provide.
