We are looking for volunteer ushers who love music and love people. Our ushers take tickets, greet our patrons, hand out programs, direct the audience to their seats, and answer basic questions about our facility. The required attire is a white dress shirt (ties for men) and black slacks or skirt. Volunteers usually get to see and/or hear the performance when they usher, as well as earn points that can be redeemed for free tickets. We have daytime, midweek Young People's Concerts, midweek evening faculty and student recitals, and weekend Classical, Jazz, and World Music Concerts. The average event requires an usher to work 3-4 hours. Anyone can volunteer (minors must have written permission).
