For 1 hour a week you can help support a special needs rider by walking alongside and keeping them safe while they are on horseback. No experience necessary and we train. Must be able to walk in the sandy arena outdoors for approx. 45 minutes. Good exercise, beautiful setting in the Tanque Verde Valley and a wonderful cause.

Description
TROT is a non-profit organization that uses horsemanship as a form of therapy for children and adults with special needs. Participants partake in an individualized therapeutic program designed to promote improvement in muscle strength and neuromuscular coordination as well as to enhance their confidence and self esteem.
The special bond between horse and human provides the incentive for achievements never thought possible.
This is achieved through a comprehensive program provided by a professional staff, trained volunteers, and carefully selected horses.
