Virtue Quest offers Individual Mentoring and Group Mentoring
Virtue Quest has been mentoring students in 3rd-8th grade in the Cordova, TN area since 2011. We offer after school mentoring and individual mentoring to students at Macon-Hall Elementary and Mt. Pisgah Middle School. Mentoring is part of the school day at Cordova Middle School. Virtue Quest also has summer group mentoring located at the Virtue Quest House in Cordova.
Individual Life Mentoring- the mentor and mentee meet at least twice a month on their own schedule, at the time of their choosing.
Group Mentoring- the mentor meets with a small group of mentees along with 1-2 other mentors at a Cordova area Elementary or Middle School. Mentors must be available on a weekday after school. In the summer groups meet at the Virtue Quest House in Cordova.
Mentors must agree to a one-year commitment and complete training, application, fingerprinting, background check, and interview before mentoring begins. Mentees are between the 3rd grade (7/8 years old) to 8th grade (12/13 years old).
Virtue Quest is approved by the University of Memphis as a partner in providing volunteer hours for college students and you can find us on Volunteer Odyssey. Virtue Quest is a member of Mentor Memphis Grizzlies.

Description
Virtue Quest Mentoring was founded in 2011, and organized into a nonprofit 501c3 shortly after, in order to meet the needs of Macon-Hall Elementary School, in Cordova, TN Our relationship began when we shared a virtue-based curriculum, which is now taught throughout the school. As our relationship developed, we were given the opportunity to serve in additional areas within the school and assist Macon-Hall families. We offer, not only the virtue-based curriculum in several schools, but also individual and group mentoring during the school year and summer months.
We now serve, Mount Pisgah Middle School and Cordova Middle School, as well. We are thrilled to join public schools in such a unique and meaningful way and are extremely committed to strengthening our community. Virtue Quest has had the privilege to partner with several community organization including Mentor Memphis Grizzlies and AmeriCorp Vistas. We are looking forward to the many new and exciting adventures that the future holds for Virtue Quest.
