Urban Diner by Friends of Night People is currently in need of a group of five people to help serve the community kitchen at 385 Paderewski Drive from 2:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. the second, third and fifth Tuesdays of the month.

Description
THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO INCREASE THE PUBLIC'S UNDERSTANDING OF HOMELESSNESS AND THE WORKING POOR BY WORKING WITH OTHER VOLUNTARY AGENCIES TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR PEOPLE AND THEIR ASSOCIATED PROBLEMS. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A SOUP KITCHEN IN BUFFALO, NEW YORK, WHICH PROVIDES HOT MEALS, CLOTHING, MEDICAL CARE, ASSISTANCE AND SOCIAL SERVICE REFERRALS FOR THE HOMELESS AND WORKING POOR.
