Do you have experience and/or interest in helping people who are living with mental health conditions? Are you open-minded, outgoing, patient, and comfortable talking with and encouraging others?
Solstice Behavioral Health is looking for some energetic and creative volunteers who can help us lead gardening projects. We have outdoor garden boxes as well as a new ADA accessible garden box.
Our clients want to learn how to plant and grow some easy potted vegetables and herbs. Volunteer would need to commit to coming for one hour to lead an activity group, with the help of our staff each Thursday .
The Wellness Studio only occurs on Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Volunteers must be available during those hours.
Our participants/clients are adults of all ages with mental health diagnoses ranging from depression to anxiety to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
