Washing Cars

Question: How does washing a car for FREE serve the homeless?

Answer: By supporting LIVING Ministry!

Our sponsors donate per car we wash. Not only does this make the car wash FREE to those who attend, but it means we have to wash as many cars as possible! For every car we wash on Saturday, September 7th, we will earn over $40 from our sponsors!

All funds raised go towards our ministry to the homeless including shelter visits, job fairs, our fall clothing give away, and more!

This is a great event for anybody looking to volunteer but not sure how to start (anybody can wash a car), anybody who loves fundraising, or anybody who likes to wash cars. Bring a friend and come out to help us wash away poverty!

There are (2) volunteer shifts to choose from: 9:00AM - 1:30PM or 12:30PM - 5:00PM. Choose the one that works best for you or stay for both! Visit www.livingministry.org/carwashvolunteers for more info!

L.I.V.I.N.G. Ministry is a Christian non-profit organization that ministers to the homeless and needy in Pittsburgh, PA. We recognize the saving grace that Jesus Christ has brought us, and seek to share that with the weakest and often most vulnerable population in our society: the homeless. We are determined to be Christ's hands and feet by meeting the homeless where they are, and restoring the dignity and self-worth that they have in Christ.
