2. OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS
Our heart is for volunteers to come and join us, because we have seen the positive impact made on the Ugandan community and the significant benefits entailed on volunteers themselves, as they are able to reach out serving the communities making a difference on the lives of children. We expect all volunteers to spend some time looking across at all elements of NKA before they concentrate on one area and to help at all time while with us.
We are looking for people who may be qualified and aspiring to qualify or not qualified gap year students including:
Child educators
Social workers; child caretakers at schools and homes, trainings
Counsellors to counsel parents and children through sensitizations
Nutritionists to lead and manage, train communities in general nutrition.
Doctors; carryout out daignosis and referral for medicine
Nurses; Help out in health administrational program,
General Volunteers; help out in general work, at schools and official work
Occupation theraists. for therapies on children with disabilities
Speech therapist caay out speech therapies on children in schools.
Child sponsors; support with funds for school fees, development program.
Fundraisers

All volunteers will work alongside our team.

- To see Kids fully transformed while in Schools.
- To see needy Kids life transformed for the better.
- To enable communities and families help their children.
- To see Children who are discipled and raised into the fear of God
- To see children who are in good health and in good hygiene both in schools and communities
OUR MISSION:Addressing and improving the poverty striven Kids and general standard of health, food security, nutrition, Education, discipleship for CWD’S AND YWD’s.

To enable School and Parents to support the children, and accept them fully.
To see attitudes change in the community from negative to positive.
To see the children reach their full potential, in areas of Health, Education, and general life standards.
Needy Kids Africa is based in Kayunga district,KangulumiraSub-countyabout a one hour drive fromJinjaTown(The source of theNile).
HISTORYNeedy Kids Africa is a Christian community based rehabilitation program, which was founded in August 2011 by Nasasira K.I fromUganda, Nasasira who had struggled himself with Education from the age of 6. He worked his life all through University (Now holding a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and PGD in Psychology, guidance and counselling) with no sponsor/guardian helping him with school fees, parental guidance, and discipleship. He states thatUgandais full of cases of cases of children in the same struggles; such needy kids need to be loved and helped.
