Sacramento Archives Crawl
The Sacramento Room during the Annual Sacramento Archives Crawl

On SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6, the Sacramento Public Library's Central Library will be one of the host locations for the annual Archives Crawl. Participants will "crawl" through Central's Galleria to view rarely-seen historical treasures from the Sacramento Room and meet with informative archivists.

The crawl starts at 10:00am and ends 4:00pm. Schedule is flexible - you can volunteer the entire time or for a couple hours - whatever works best for your schedule. Volunteers will help with the following tasks:

1. Room setup and take down

2. Greet crawlers

3. Hand out and stamp passports

4. Score scavenger hunt entries
