Join the Lincoln area Outreach booth team!
As an outreach volunteer, you would staff the Alzheimer’s Association resource table at health fairs and other community events, helping to raise awareness in the community about Alzheimer’s disease and the mission and resources of the Alzheimer’s Association. You will receive training on the basics of Alzheimer’s disease and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Time Commitment: A commitment of 3 months is expected. Volunteers are asked to help with at least 2 booths during this time.
Run outreach booth; set up and take down the booth; keep booth tidy during event
Talk to the public about the importance early detection
Inform people about the Alzheimer’s Association, how they can donate, and how they can volunteer and advocate
Pick up outreach materials from and return materials to the local chapter office
If the event location is not near the office, the volunteer coordinator will bring supplies to the volunteer, and pick up supplies following the event.
