Donor Aide volunteers assist the Blood Collections staff during the donation process at a variety of bloodmobiles in the community such as at high schools, colleges, businesses, churches, or other community organizations.
The Donor Aide volunteers help handle supplies, verify test tube numbers, chat with donors, and alert the staff in case of donor reactions.
Volunteers choose what bloodmobiles they want to help at throughout the month. Initial and on-going training is provided.
