Did you know that you can shop while helping low-income families achieve their dreams of homeownership? We are looking for people to help our store run smoothly. As a Merchandise Preparation Assistant, you will get to see all of our merchandise that we are getting in while you volunteer. It's a win-win!
Volunteer Shifts (flexibility is available)
Monday-Friday: 10 am-2 pm & 2 pm-6 pm
Saturday: 9 am-1 pm & 1 pm-5 pm
Merchandise Prep Roles & Responsibilities:
* Customer Service
-Answer customer and donor questions as needed
-Assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise
* Merchandising
-Price, organize, and place merchandise in appropriate departments
-Clean merchandise
* Donation Receiving
-Unload donations
-Fill out donation slips
Desired Skills & Experience
* 14 & 15, volunteer with a parent or guardian
* Ages 16+ may volunteer on their own
* Cheerful and upbeat customer service skills
* Staff support is always available to assist with questions

Mission Statement
The Green Bay ReStore works in partnership with Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. It is a retail operation providing a valuable source of cash flow through the sale of donated building materials. The revenue supports the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes to help families in need in the Green Bay area.
Description
ReStore accepts donations of new, gently used and salvaged building materials from individuals, retailers, businesses, contactors, remodelers, and manufacturers. These good quality items are sold to the general public at a fraction of retail prices, with all proceeds going to Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
