Helping a shy cat become comfortable in new surroundings requires calm patience.

SENIORS share your home and care with a adult to senior cat that needs transitional one-on-one care for 4-6 weeks. Help us get to know your foster kitty. We appreciate phone call, email, texts and/or photos to update us on the kitty's personality, likes/dislikes, and other information to help us make a great placement. SENIORS can also become Foster to Adopt at no cost as well. Cats adoption donation is $130 or $65 depending on the age of the cat. Pairs adoption donation $240 to $160, depending on ages of the cats. Daily socialization of cats is a must. Good opportunity for experienced cat owners to help an older cat get a second chance. Mission Statement

To provide a conduit (bridge) for abandoned and released cats and dogs to be placed in forever homes; To provide a sanctuary for unadoptable cats and dogs and feral cats to live out their lives in a clean, healthy environment with appropriate vet care support as needed.


Established in May 2012, the Cats In Tow Rescue & Sanctuary cares for adoptable cats at the Cat Adoption Center at Petsmart Brea, Imperial/Kraemer 24/7 and holds weekend adoption shows. We maintain sanctuary cats and practice TNR. We always need help to make sure our cats/kittens are well socialized and adoptable. Volunteers are part of a large team that perform a number of necessary tasks in order to keep the program running smoothly. Our cats are featured on Adopt a Pet.com and on Facebook.com/Cats InTow plus our blog. Fosters always needed!
