We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with some of the daily activities associated with the ReStore operations. The ReStore focuses on re-selling donated items such as furniture, appliances, and building materials. Every dollar of revenue generated by the ReStore goes back to Habitat for Humanity to help families in the Greater Harrisburg Area.
Volunteer activities include organizing/re-stocking shelves, receiving and processing donations, loading customer vehicles, and various customer service related activities. Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesday-Saturday and volunteer shifts are typically from 9 am - 1 pm (morning shift), 1 pm - 5 pm (afternoon shift), or 9 am - 5 pm (all day). We are also willing to work around your schedule if none of these shifts work for you.

Description
We are an interfaith grass roots housing ministry with the goal of eliminating poverty housing. Unwilling to accept the fact that thousands of families live without adequate shelter, Habitat for Humanity challenges and invites individuals, religious organizations, companies, foundations, and other organizations to join in partnership with people who are living in inadequate housing to improve their living conditions.
