Description
Soldiers Organized Services (SOS) volunteers provide active-duty servicemen and women (and their families) with free transportation, any day or night, between the Palm Springs or Ontario International Airports and the US Marine Corps Base in Twentynine Palms, CA. Bus service is extremely limited and time consuming and with distances of 61 miles from Palm Springs and 112 miles from Ontario, this allows travelling service-members to avoid the $175-$200 cost of a taxi (more from Ontario). We won't refuse a ride to any service-member who needs one.
