Veterans can serve as companion volunteers to our hospice patients in ways only a Veteran can appreciate. We serve our Veteran patients in homes, retirement communities or a variety of facilities. The role of the companion volunteer is to listen, talk, play cards or maybe only hold a hand and provide a presence.
