TWRC Wildlife Center is looking for volunteers to help feed baby squirrels. No previous squirrel experience is needed. Training will be provided by experienced, permitted rehabilitators. Duties will include: hand feed squirrels, prepare formulas, wash dishes, cages and help maintain the squirrel room. Squirrels are fed 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Volunteers are needed weekdays and weekends to work at least 5, 2-3 hour shifts caring for orphaned squirrels until they are old enough to transition to release back into the wild. Volunteers must RSVP for Baby Squirrel Orientation and on a separate day schedule to attend a Feeding Training Class.
