In response to the Hayden Pass Fire, help is needed to mitigate flooding and repair fire damage in areas with the greatest need. The burn scar is now subject to erosion and mud slides, which threaten local structures and the municipal water supply. Work may include: raking and re-shaping the ground surface; re-seeding native vegetation and straw mulching; installing sand bags around structures; installing log erosion barriers to stabilize hillslopes and drainages prone to flood events.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please register & find more information at: volunteer.cusp.ws or co-co.org

Thank you!
