Keeper trainees are needed daily to help take care of the animals (tigers, bears, lemurs, wolves, etc). You will prepare food for the animals, assist with feeding, clean enclosures, provide enrichment, general maintenance, and cleanup. Opportunities to grow into Certified Keepers exist!
When you leave for the day, you will be hot, sweaty, dirty, exhausted, and exhilarated that you have played an instrumental part in the lives of these beautiful animals.
This position requires a commitment of at least 1 day (6-8 hours) per week. We are happy to work around your schedule. And remember, volunteer hours and mileage is tax deductible!
