Are you skilled with technology? Do you have a passion for digital literacy?
For many Dallasites who do not have regular access to computers, tasks like connecting with their children's teachers and accessing better employment opportunities are even more difficult.
Help our ESL students overcome the digital gap and become comfortable and confident with computers.
If you have the skills for this volunteer position, let us know!
We have an immediate need to teach Computer Literacy on Tuesdays. If you are able to help, you will be helping our students use technology in their lives.
Requirement: 1 hour (or more) per week
Available classes: 1 hour classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Location: St. Matthew's Cathedral (5100 Ross Ave. Dallas)

Description
Aberg Center for Literacy's primary areas of focus are English learning, high school equivalency preparation and family literacy, including educational opportunities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Classes are volunteer-led and tuition-free.Classes meet from 9 AM - 1 PM Monday through Thursday. Holidays follow the Dallas ISD calendar. Aberg Center offices are located at and graciously provided by St. Matthew's Episcopal Cathedral in Old East Dallas and Casa Linda United Methodist Church in East Dallas.
