In the reception area, ensure that donors feel welcome and valued during the drive. Check the donors in following the easy 9 step process. In the hospitality area, Thank the donor, offer the donor water, juices and snacks. Watch for signs that a donor does not feel well. Each person who gives blood can save 3 lives, make sure the donors feel appreciated and taken care of during the reception and hospitality processes. Depending on the site, you may be asked to recruit donors. The new RapidPass process allows the potential to complete part of the process prior to coming, shortening the time at the drive by 15 minutes or more.
