The Library relies on many volunteers to keep it operating: both teens and adults. The staff and the community appreciate all the care and attention our volunteers give the Library.

Volunteers are needed seven days a week, when the Library is open to the public. Make a difference in your community while gaining valuable job experience and skills.

Currently the Library needs Adult Computer Helpers - Teen and Adult volunteers

Assist adult patrons with computer issues such as signing onto the Library’s computers, internet searches, using Word and Excel, and printing and copying documents.

We need volunteers who are friendly, comfortable interacting with adults, can give instruction clearly and patiently, have excellent computer knowledge, and can work with minimal supervision. Training on Library’s equipment will be provided. Time commitment: once a week for two hours.

Minimum age to volunteer for this position is 16 and students earn community service. In addition, this is the perfect position for a retired adult or one who is between jobs. Keep your mind and skills sharp!

Must attend one training session on FRIDAY, AUGUST 11th from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Gain valuable job skills while making a difference in your community.
