Do you like children's books? Do you want a flexible schedule and be able to volunteer days? Do you want to work only a few days per month? Do you like to drive around the community?

This new volunteer position is for you! . You would be visiting area childcare centers to exchange bookbags filled with children's books. This ensures that we swap new books for the onsite 'old' books. Choose your location: Dover, Harrington or Smyrna.

A non-profit organization working to ensure that each preschool child in Delaware is read to one-on-one.

Description

We promote reading aloud to preschool children in order to encourage a love of books and a desire to become a reader. Join volunteers of all ages who read one-on-one to children in child care centers and clinics serving low income families. Statewide locations available.
