Key Responsibilities
- Assist House of Hope staff with creating dinner for residents.
- Dinners must be prepared on site at House of Hope and be pre-scheduled with staff.
- House of Hope staff will provide menu suggestions, resident quantities and special guidelines.
- Demonstrate positive social skills and commitment.
- Follow Family Tree child abuse reporting procedures as a mandated reporter.
Initial Impact
- House of Hope residents will enjoy delicious meals provided by members of the community.
Sustained Outcome
- Dinner Donors will demonstrate the value of effective volunteer engagement and attract additional volunteers that can help build Family Tree’s capacity.
- This role will help House of Hope staff to fulfill strategic priorities.

Description
Family Tree is unique because it is the only agency in the Metro Denver area working to address the interconnectedness of child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.
Family Tree helps people become safe, strong and self-reliant by offering a wide spectrum of services, including: emergency shelters for runaway and abused youth, women and children victims of domestic violence, and homeless women and children; counseling and support groups; parenting and self-sufficiency classes; temporary and permanent housing; transportation assistance; supervised visitation and safe exchange programs, among other services.
